Ayarpatta Camp is located in one of the seven hills which surround the lake of Nainital, only 20 mins drive from the main city and can be hiked as well. The camp rests among varieties of oak, rhododendron, Deodar and various other trees imported from Europe during the colonial reign. Ayarpatta hill which stands on the south got its name from the Ayar trees.
